As you know Marion, Ohio is considered to be at the top of the poverty list in Ohio {19%} in the percentage of persons living in poverty for a city our size. The food pantries are in demand more than ever, striving all the while to maintain food for those in need. Our drive helps every food pantry in Marion that uses Mid Ohio Food Bank { St Paul's Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen: Salvation Army and Soup Kitchen: Men's and Women's Shelters: Turning Point: Victory Center Food Pantry: Good Shepherd Food Pantry: St Vincent de Paul Food Pantry: Kirkpatrick Church of Christ Food Pantry: James Johnson-Charles Rudd Community Center.}

Mid-Ohio Food Bank reports that it serves 30% more clients than it did just four years ago. In its 20 county service area, more than 40,000 people receive emergency food aid each month. In Marion County, the pantries are serving over 14% more clients this year than last. 

Operation Feed is vital to the pantries as they could not begin to buy food at this cost and would not be able to feed the number of people they do without it. All monies benefit Marion County.  You can donate simply by clicking and donating.
